FAQs

How does the pre-sale work?

It’s simple! All we need right now is your name and email - no payment details required. When the product is ready to ship, we’ll send you a payment link so you can complete your purchase.

How do I use the ceramic dispenser?

Simply attach the aluminum pod to the pump, place the pump back into the dispenser, and you're ready to go. Press the pump to dispense toothpaste smoothly—no squeezing required. When the pod is empty, just rinse and recycle it, then replace it with a new one. It’s designed to be simple, sustainable, and mess-free.

Do I need to clean the dispenser?

The dispenser doesn’t come into direct contact with the toothpaste, but it’s always a good idea to maintain cleanliness. If needed, you can rinse it with warm water or simply place it in the dishwasher.

How are toothpaste pods different?

In literally every single way. Firstly, our pods are made from BPA-free aluminum, not plastic, which is an infinitely recyclable material. Secondly, Nahda toothpaste pods are twice the size of a standard natural toothpaste tube, which means less waste and fewer transportation emissions. Last but definitely not least, our pods have a dip-tube friendly cone-shape to prevent waste. No more cutting of toothpaste tubes and struggling to get the last bit out.

How long does a toothpaste pod last?

Nahda toothpaste pods are 5.5 ounces which is twice the size of a standard natural toothpaste tube. One pod will last approximately 3 months for one person.

What’s in your toothpaste?

Nahda is reinventing oral care. Not only did we ditch nasty tubes for sustainable pods, we traded fluoride for nano-hydroxyapatite (n-Ha), a natural ingredient scientifically proven to remineralize tooth enamel. We complement this powerful ingredient with soothing aloe vera, vitamin rich kakadu plum, antioxidant-rich green tea and other clean ingredients. Now you don’t have to choose between a natural, safe toothpaste and a science-backed one. That’s something to smile about.

What is nano-hydroxyapatite?

Fluoride was first used in toothpaste in the 1950s, long before the internet even existed! A lot has changed since then — so why hasn’t your toothpaste? It’s about time for some innovation in oral care. Nano-hydroxyapatite (n-Ha) is a revolutionary ingredient first developed by NASA to remineralize the teeth and bones of astronauts (who said oral care isn’t rocket science). N-Ha makes up the primary foundation of teeth and bones and is scientifically proven to remineralize tooth enamel. It also doesn’t have any of the toxins found in fluoride, so it’s safe to swallow.

Is Nahda suitable for children?

Absolutely. Children’s toothpaste typically has a lower level of fluoride because of the greater risk of potential toxicity in children. Nahda toothpaste is free of fluoride and other potentially harmful ingredients, making it safe for children. For children under 6 years old, we recommend using a pea-sized amount and brush with adult supervision.
